My name is Sylar

Goodbye to love
Well, it's all right; I'll push you up
Right against the wall
Take apart your head, right against the wall
Chew it up and swallow it.

For the uninitiated: Sylar is an evolved human with oh-so-special powers from the frankly awesome TV show Heroes. He isn't the loveliest guy you'll ever meet, unless you have a thing for a man so insufferably full of himself that he'll take out someone's brain to steal their power. Recently, you see, he crossed over to the far side of crazy, and it wasn't a terribly long journey for him to make. He's tall (beating six feet), thin, dark-haired, brown-eyed and probably smiling in an annoyingly superior kind of way. Years of fixing watches hasn't given him any great physical strength, but he can flip a truck with his mind, which (you may agree) makes up for that somewhat. Having died of a stab wound at Kirby Plaza, he is now beamed to you live from the afterlife. Enjoy!

Sylar intuitively knows how systems work. He can move and manipulate solid objects without touching them. He can draw out heat to make anything freeze. He cannot forget. He can melt an object without so much as warming it. He can hear a butterfly beating its wings from a mile away. He can see the future in unpredictable bursts, and paint those visions. He can emit deadly radiation from his skin. Being already dead, whenever he is killed he will return physically unscathed in a burst of slightly symbolic flame. Being also (depending on the timeframe) a Downside torturer, he wields a form of mind control. He is, in short, a godawful twink.

"And Zarathustra spake thus unto the people: I teach you the Super-human. Man is something that is to be surpassed. What have you done to surpass man? All beings hitherto have created something beyond themselves: and you want to be the ebb of that great tide, and would rather go back to the beast than surpass man? What is the ape to man? A laughing-stock, a thing of shame. And just the same shall man be to the Super-human: a laughing-stock, a thing of shame."

I go by Caz, and I'm not making any money off this. Sylar is from Heroes, is portrayed by Zachary Quinto, and belongs to Tim Kring and NBC. It's just a roleplay journal, in case you're wondering: I'm not Sylar (no duh). I'd take the superpowers like a shot, but if I ever get that narcissistic then I hope someone'll have the sense to shoot me. xD
